What is a classic film? Well, it can be a personal classic, an ignored classic, an acknowledged classic, or even a modern classic. But we are starting with films from the era usually referred to as ‘The Golden Age of Hollywood’ and we are also including classic films from elsewhere. A goal of the website is to draw attention to the artistry that went into all aspects of their production and to reveal some of the stories behind the making of the films.
